Going in guns blazing felt awkward and unnatural, and I avoided that route whenever possible, which thankfully was almost always. I went through as much of the game staying nonlethal as I possibly could, and I wish Ubisoft would have explored the nonlethal route more, as that just felt like the natural way a group of hackers would tackle the situation at hand. Their mission throughout the campaign has you taking on the evil corporation Blume, which is using cTOS 2.0 technology (the original cTOS was the main villain in the original Watch Dogs) in order to spy on people and sell their information for their own benefit.To do that, you’ll be sneaking and hacking your way about the city, utilizing gadgets such as an RC Car and a Drone, to stay as hidden as possible. In fact, the entire cast consisting of Marcus, Wrench, Sitara, Josh, Horatio, and T-Bone were what made the game so enjoyable for me. Right away, it’s clear that this is a much better choice for a protagonist, as Marcus is way more likeable than Aiden ever was. Watch Dogs 2 has you taking on the role of Marcus Holloway, otherwise known as Retr0, a master hacker that has just recently joined the group DedSec. The amount of stuff there is to do within the game itself may seem a little overwhelming at first, like most open world games do, but by the halfway point, you’ll have a much clearer idea of what it is you should be doing and the things you can leave for later on or after the main story is complete.

Almost every section of San Francisco has a reason for you to be looking, finding collectibles, getting upgrade points, finding money, or completing side quests. Sure, they had to cut some things out and rework it a little to make it fit within the realm of a video game, but what is there is pretty dang amazing to see.The map itself also has very little “dead area”, where there isn’t a reason to be or explore. From what I understand from friends and colleagues who live there or have lived there in the past, Ubisoft nailed so many things with the city that it’s somewhat scary. The amount of detail sprinkled in everywhere you go is quite impressive, and graphically it's simply stunning. me start off by saying that the world created for Watch Dogs 2, which takes place in San Francisco, CA, is without a doubt the best representation of a real world city in any video game to date.
